Neem oil is great for protecting your plant from pesky pests <<< always wanted to say that!

What is Neem Oil?

Neem oil comes from the beautiful Neem tree, also called Azadirachta Indica, that lives in India. It’s a sacred tree that is used in a lot of traditional Indian Ayuvedic medicine. It is a great natural pesticide.

Neem oil can protect your plants from up to 600 different types of pests which pretty much makes it a little miracle. This includes:

  • Whiteflies
  • Bugs
  • Aphids
  • Fugus Gnats
  • and Mites

The Azadirachtin inside Neem oil, acts as a natural repellent and insecticide that disrupts the ability for pests to grow and feed.

What Are The Different Types of Neem Oil?

Neem Oil Insecticide

Neem oil insecticide is usually sprayed on a plant or added to the soil. It is then absorbed by your plants through their roots, naturally distributing it throughout your plant. Pests then eat it whilst they nibble on your plant and then bam, it works its magic!

This is really useful for tackling soil based issues such as:

  • Fungi
  • Mildew
  • Root Rot
  • Black Spot
